I am a music instructor/radio DJ/singer-songwriter and book author who enjoys speculating on the future. When I was a child I used to walk around with a little microphone. It was square. It was not operative, but in my mind I used it as a walkie talkie to talk to myself. I turned out to be a radio broadcaster. I do like to observe the world and come up with opinions about where it is heading.
Today my post is about music and food, two of life’s greatest blessings!
Today my little music duo, Molly and Sonny Boy ( hubby Jim and I,) did a nice little number for you, “That’s Amore.” Just guitar, tambourine and 2 vocals.
Hubby cooks it often from a recipe he got from his Italian ex-girlfriend’s mother. It contains ditalini pasta, Great Northern beans, tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes dried Romano cheese chunks, black pepper, red pepper, rosemary, garlic and olive oil.
I still view them now and then to catch a glimpse of our sweet dogs Cole and Pixie who sometimes appear in them.
Pixie and Cole
I still feel so much sadness over their deaths.
Happily, they both each lived to be about 17! Pixie, the Pomeranian lived to be 16 years and 8 months and Cole the Poodle, lived to be 17 years and one month.
I wish they were still alive. Their lives were too short in my books, even though in dog years, they would each be over 100!
At Cafe Lena
In 2013, we fulfilled a lifelong dream of my husband’s, to perform at Cafe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY.
We talk and we play Pokemon Go on our smartphones.
I can’t tell you how happy I am living in a residential neighborhood.
After growing up in the inner city, living in an apartment building, I love the contrast of just walking out the front door and up the tree-lined street.
