Fitness Paradise
Today and every day I get to go workout and go swimming! 🏊♂️
I love to swim!
I joined our local community recreation center!
The recreation center director was kind enough to have one of the employees give my husband and I the grand tour.
Spin classes. a specially treated comfy walking track, a giant pool and exercise equipment, all at our disposal!
All that swimming made me hungry!
Freaque’s Guitarist’s Unique Techniques
Last night hubby & I went out for some live music.🎶
The group “Freaque” was made up of one singer & 3 musicians that accompanied on a variety of instruments.
It was all original music mainly composed and song by the lead singer Gabriel Roderick.
I was very much impressed with the unique guitar technique with the metal rod on the strings.
The lead singer calls his brand of song-writing dirt-folk.

Municipal Band Music
We really enjoyed the sounds of our Municipal band last night!
My favourite was the medley from Meredith Wilson’s, “The Music Man.”
I found out Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are performing that Hollywood musical on Broadway!
My own music duo Molly and Sonny Boy (me and hubby Jim) will be performing here at German Park on June 20, 2022!

Our Ambassadors
We have an all-male vocal group in New Ulm called the Concord Singers.
Their title is New Ulm’s Ambassadors of Goodwill.
Last night we went to hear them perform at German Park.
The group has been in the area for over 90 years
It’s a nod to our German Heritage here in my hometown of New Ulm, Minnesota!
Each summer the Concord Singers are a part of an annual celebration called Bavarian Blast.

Better than Winter
It was a long-time coming, but it looks like Spring has finally sprung!
To celebrate the joys of warmer weather, I brought home a stunningly beautiful Hydrangea plant.
They say being here in Minnesota is like living 6 months in Eden, and 6 months on Mars!
Well then, hypothetically-speaking, it looks like being here in May through October will be better than Winter!
The ground breaking for Highway 14 improvements in Minnesota
This morning at 9 AM there was a groundbreaking in Courtland, Minnesota for the new highway 14 improvement project.

When it’s Springtime in Minnesota
Today was a glorious day! 68 degrees Fahrenheit, or 20 degrees Celsius, and a nice, cool breeze.
You never know what kind of weather you will get in Minnesota, especially in the Spring.
You never know if you will get a snow storm or a heat wave. Minnesota weather has a mind of it’s own.
On days like today when the weather is perfect, you feel like having a party!
Yesterday my Poodle Cole turned 13 years old. To me he is still a puppy, full of pep, and joie de vivre!
I just took him, and the Pomeranian out for a walk in the beautiful sunshine.
Perhaps later on I will get the motivation to finally mow the front and back lawn!
Tonight we must celebrate Spring in Minnesota because days like this don’t come every day!
