The KNUJ Spring Polka Party was held at Turner Hall on Sunday.
People were dancing and drinking.
It was 2 years since the last KNUJ Polka dance.
Old and young love music and fun!

Last night we went to see a local theater production of “The 39 steps,” a thriller.
It was peppered with unexpected comical camp.

With sparse sets. and a stretch of the imagination, 10 actors played 30 parts.

Moving to the Midwest I never heard of many different kinds of pastries, in particular, this one.
This is a crispy, crunchy delight bought from our local bakery, the Backerai on Minnesota Street.
I will have it with some delicious French roast coffee.
The day is bleak and rainy, so it’s time for a little food fun.
Right now I’m fixated on going to Boston and seeing all the sights.
I found some fabulous Boston travel videos, in particular, from Expedia.
Here is the one about Boston from Expedia:
I know I probably shouldn’t watch TV and eat and drink, but who doesn’t, right?

Today we had our dwarf lilacs trees trimmed and more.
The men came early this morning to fix our overgrown trees.
They worked quickly and efficiently.

I am thankful for the local landscaping company, Rivercreek Nursery, for their hard teamwork.
Due to the cold weather this Spring, they are 3 weeks behind. Let’s hope they can catch-up on their projects.
The sun is out and today is a beautiful day! Let’s hope it that better days are on the way!🌞

Update: On May 9, 2022
I found out I do NOT have tooth resorption
The endodontist found a crack inside the tooth that was causing bone loss. And now the remedy is a replacement tooth, a dental implant, so I am relieved it is NOT tooth resorption.
‐—‐–‐The following is my old post——-
I felt a compelling urge to go to the dentist and I’m really glad I did.
It turns out that I have a problem that I never, ever heard of before.
It’s called tooth resorption.
The cause of this may have happened when I was young, but now I’m dealing with the fallout.
The dentist discovered the dark spot inside my right eye tooth this morning after examining an x-ray.
He told me all we have to do now is to monitor it and to recall it once in a while to see what’s going on inside.
So in three months i’m going back to have it checked out.
I went to get a teeth-cleaning this morning, and also to check out a problem with a new crown.
After x-rays, they found that gum tissue was the problem surrounding the new crown and prescribed a special mouthwash.
They also found a strange cast on an x-ray depicting a case of tooth resorption on one tooth. A dark shadow in the tooth that wasn’t there before, likely caused by past facial trauma, bruxism or cheap tooth whitening.
I can only hope it will go away on its own and if it doesn’t, I may have to get an implant, so the infection doesn’t spread to the other teeth.
If you’re interested. you can find out more about tooth resorption right here:

This morning at 9 AM there was a groundbreaking in Courtland, Minnesota for the new highway 14 improvement project.
I played scout reporter and video taped the entire thing here.
I got my picture taken with another Amy

Last night I visited an Andrew Carnegie building for an art exhibit.

I went with my hubby to check out an old friend’s Art show.
It had been years since I saw Craig. He is a multi-media artist, and also a musician. It was fun catching up.
There will be a pink moon tonight, all full and bright.
So I thought I might show you this beautiful prose by the author of Charlotte’s Web.
Enjoy!
